Inhibition of carbon steel corrosion with synergistic inhibitor mixture
Calcium and zinc ions increase the inhibition effect of HEDP synergistically. The inhibition mechanism is changing, they acts as mixed inhibitors. The in situ AFM technique gave morphological evidence on the synergistic effect.
