- 1996- 1997: Senior research worker at RLIC.
- 1998-present: Senior research worker at the Institute for Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Research Center, Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Research Interest Thermal decomposition of wood, lignins and other biomass materials studied by thermal analysis and pyrolysis. Thermal decomposition of polymers using pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and thermogravimetry/mass spectrometry. Study the effect of various inorganic and organic additives on the decomposition mechanisms of natural and synthetic polymers.

- 2004 – present: Member of the National Committee of The Combustion Institute.
